I am trying to grow a polymer membrane on a support but I need to functionalize the support first. My one monomer has Amine and the other has Ketone. I think if i can functionalize the filter paper (support) with amine, it will be easy to grow polymer membrane on it. I will insert this functionalized FP in a mixed solution of Amine and Ketone. Any help or suggestion will be highly appreciated.
The filter membranes you listed are totally different, but if you take cellulose as a trial, you may apply APS onto it.

Thanks Jingwen Guan. I will use organic solvents and i think cellulose FP are not organic friendly
You will need to decide which method of amine addition you want to perform, however as stated previously by Jingwen Guan you will likely want to use a covalent type functionalization to ensure attachment at one end and amine availability for the polymer to coat. Physical impregnation will likely be unsuccessful for your purposes so do not use aminopolymer here but use a covalent attachment reaction such as utilizing a triethoxysilane linker.
