Phd from a very good institution always has a great value.whether it is from India or abroad.. but I am just curious to know others opinion ...If your answer is abroad... please suggest me some "good" biotechnology institutions providing Phd programs abroad
institute matters little , your subject which you choose to work how much out come(Paper,patent,process..etc.) based on that you have ranked .
It all depepnds on the kind of topic and the potential thrust areas of your toopic you decide to pursue makes the difference.. definetely you ill get quite more exposure abroad, very easily. for the same exposure you have to strugle a lot here.. but on the whole., if you happen to work in india go for the top institutes like NCBS, CCMB, ICMR, TIFR, IISC, IIT M, it ewill give the enough you want... Also, the guide under whom you choose to work decides everything... u happen to work undr a good student amicable professor, you have done half og the phd. Consider other options too... but my personal opinion is go abroad... it is easy, short and qwuick....
