In shear forming, there is a sine rule which relates the final thickness to the primary. when the cone is sharp, the blank must have a high thickness. my shear forming lathe does not have enough power to deform high thickness blank. One idea comes in my mind to produce such cones is to spin it with a sheet with thickness near to the final thickness. Is this a possible way?
