I found this study that could be interesting for your chapter with Jun. They don't specify that is routine dynamics, but they use a qualitative approach (multiple case studies) to understand some aspects of organizational routines and self-managing teams. I think it might also be useful for our ecology section, where studies are still rare in this dimension of analysis :)
