It's a common intertidal fish in rocky shores, it has been founded at supralitoral level.
Have you looked into Amatitlania nigrofasciata (Convict Cichlids). From what I can see in the picture provided, this may be your species!

Is difficult to know without any other reference (morphology, size, depth, etc.). There are some general species keys to begin (in spanish sorry), but better if you have some individuals to examine.
