It is rather unusual that somebody else tells you what research project you can do. If you are student and studying in a university, you must have a supervisor who defines your line of research relevant to his or her field of interest. If a third party assgined a project for you and you face some problems, which is likely to be so, then who is going to help you? Therefore, I think it is not wise to ask other people to give you any help in choosing your project. However, I can only tell you that the subject you are interested in is fine and of a great importance.
