This insect is mainly found in bushes and sometimes on big trees. It feeds on their leaves (not very sure) while they are victim to certain birds especially crows.
Hi, it's Capnodis miliaris of the Buprestidae family! Indeed an incredible big-sized Capnodis with metallic sheen!! I have two fantastic specimens from Turkey in my collection! The larvae of this species are xylophagous of poplars and willows.
