This might be a file input format/read problem in R rather than a hmisc issue.

can you see new variable(s) in the workspace after reading the file into R

ls() command should show the variables

Muhammad Usman Hi, can you tell me pls on head(weather) instead of weather we have to put the data file name on which we are doing analysis and secondly, can you tell me how to write a command not for the particular column but for the whole data set. and what is the use of writing n=12, (is this for showing 12 columns. ANd thank you so much for attaching the file I ll just read it.

Vikas Ramachandra ,oh thank you so much for your response. I have checked it , and yes it is recognizing the file as it showed the summary of the data. But other processes are not happening related to data imputation through Hmisc. I think I am making some mistakes here I am trying to figuring them out.
