HECHMS restricts the number of precipitation gages to one for a sub-basin. What is a solution for this?

My kinematic wave model shows simulated data which is far from the observed discharge datasets. One probable cause could be that I cannot input all the precipitation data from all the gages. Is there any solution to this?
