For natural convection inside a inclined glass tube subjected to a uniform heat flux, what would be the range of heat transfer coefficient?
Any specific range would be there? or it entirely depends on the modeling and boundary conditions of my problem, which i defined?

Thank you for your reply. Yeah, it's Nu =4.36 for a circular tube. So i can eventually find my minimum heat transfer coeffcient using the formulae... Nu =hD/K; But it can be applied to inclined tube also? Moreover you said the word Minimum; that means it can be as high as even 80 W/m2K? (bcoz am getting close to this range) and Min value around 17 W/m2K

Yes, I have done the numerical work in FLUENT. Is it possible to check the Heat transfer coefficient, adjacent to the wall in FLUENT? (i neva tried to check that using FLUENT)

I encourage you to check the attached file where you can find correlations for inclined surfaces. I hope it will help you in your study. concerning Fluent, it should be possible to plot (as a scalar) the variation of the natural convection heat transfer coefficient on the internal surface. Pay attention to the reference temperature used by Fluent.

Thank you very much Sir, It has an empirical correlation which i require for my analysis. But in this attached pdf, in page no 19 , there is a reference called reference 73; is it possible for you to give me this reference details sir.

Sorry to say, that equation i asked about, is for flow over the surface. I am mainly talking about flow inside a circular tube. Is there any such correlation?

the correlation you are looking for can be found in Bergman et al.(known also by Incropera) book of heat transfer.
