Anyone knows the practical applications where nanofluids are currently being used. Many researchers have reported enhancement in heat transfer with nanofluid. But, nanofluids are currently being used for any practical applications?
as a matter of fact no,because using nano fluids has many aspect for example stability and deposit and the most important factor is price of nano fluids and some other tools that we should to have to use nano fluids for example ultrasonic.
One of the main applications of nanofluid is in biological treatment of Cancer. Nanoparticles suspended in a fluid are injected to attack the cancer cells.
Another application is indirect. The nanofluid can reduce the drag coefficient in automobiles.... how? When nanofluid is used as a coolant in the radiator of the automobile, the heat transfer rate is increased and hence, it will be placed elsewhere, no longer in the front of the automobile. As such, the front can be resigned with more airfoil shape with less drag.

But I want to know the heat transfer applications.Do you know any car manufacturer using nanofluid as coolant in radiator. Many papers are available in that area. But I want to know whether it is practically applied anywhere?

Thanks for the publication. The paper is useful to those work with nanofluids. The paper describes the possible applications of nanofluid and emphasizes the need of more research . But I still doubt nanofluids are used in any practical applications for heat transfer enhancement.
