I'm searching for articles about isomerism of cumulene alcohols under any conditions. I was trying to search it with SciFinder and Reaxys, and I've found only 1 article about cumulene alcohol, but it was not about the isomerism. I would be much appreciated if anyone would find any relevant article.

It is important to note that the two methods are different (i.e. they are based on different rules) and they are NOT interchangeable, see below for an example. The cis- / trans- style is based on the longest chain whereas the E/Z style is based on a set of priority rules.

Treat it as an allylic alcohol and write the mechanism through a carbonyl intermediate (from the alcohol), that allows the the rotation around the newly formed single bond adjacent to the C=O group and reformation of the allylic OH.
