Dr. S.R. Vadera, the current Director of the Defence Laboratory (Defence Research & Development Organization under Ministry of Defence) Jodhpur in India and Member of Research Gate did not provide me complete copy of my service record, even when i have requested through e-mails. He has simply provided copy of my PPO AVOIDING GIVING IMPORTANT INFORMATION THAT IS BASIC PAY ON SPECIFIC DATES THAT I ASKED FOR. He has joined under me in my Radiation Safety Group and got promoted to higher ranks. We had been nice colleagues. Now his attitude is changed as Director. Dr. Vadera does not want to divulge me information on salary given to me, as gross violation of rules seemed to have been done in my case by my seniors during 1983 to 1997. Defence laboratory, Jodhpur thus GAVE MY SALARY ARBITRARILY FROM 1983 until my retirement in September 1997, WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE, MAINTAINING SECRECY FROM ME. THIS IS A CLEAR CASE OF HUMAN RIGHTS VIOLATIONS. Despite doing six fundamental physics discoveries in that laboratory, I had to face injustice owing to my honesty and for not supporting rampant corruption and malpractices adopted by my seniors.
Sad to hear about this unjustified action. Sad also to have people of education doing this, wherever they are, I agree with you that they violated your rights for information. And if they withheld information about regular salary payments from government as well, then this leads to another problem, which is escaping from taxation case... Do I understand he withheld info also from the government about your salary (arbitrarily reports)?? Did you seek legal advice??
Sometimes, honesty in the wrong place leads to injustice but should not change the person. Keep your honesty, and use the social media to let know about such an injustice (and at the same time seek legal advise).

"Did you seek legal advice? Not yet. When Director refused to provide copy of my service record, particularly Basic Pay on specific dates that I requested, I have tried to get information by another means called RTI. Even for that, the laboratory cited a Rule why the information cannot be given to me. It seems, my seniors did some gross injustice in my service record, in violation of Rules and Regulations laid by the Government that the current Director wanted to hide from me. Number of letters sent to Prime Minister's office were buried somewhere. Legal action is the only option left to me. But at 80 years, I have little energy to move much.
" Honesty in the wrong place leads to injustice". Owing to my honesty I did not get promotion from Lecturer post for 11 years previously at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. Rampant corruption and misuse of research funds had been prevalent in academic and research institutions in India. I believe the trend continued. As a result, human values were eroded.

Your dignity is way more precious than the people you are dealing with. Corruption is indeed an illness that infects people who are susceptible for corruption. True the fight needs energy, if you do not want to spend your efforts on negative energy, best thing is to move forward and adopt activities related to research (freelance) and consultancy. Thanks Prof. Hussin Jose Hejase for kind advice and Mr Dickson Adom for supporting his advice. Lot of my precious time was wasted in trying to get justice for harm done to me and to my discoveries done by my seniors. I did not get any success. I am gathering all my energies to make further progress in solar physics. I hope my goal would be achieved with inspiration from all of you.
