Have anyone else bulk download financial data for banks from Fitch Connect (own by Fitch ratings which originally provided data for Bankscope)? Specifically for a large of sample of 1000 banks over 15-20 years. How could you do it? As the Fitch Connect webpage platform only display data from the latest 10 years i.e 2016-2007; the same is for its excel add-ins template for Bank Peer Analysis.

it can be done through the excel add-in. just identify your banks using the fitch ID in the excel. easiest way is try to contact their support, Yuki. they will provide you with the formula
