I am not an expert of diary technology, but when I was working at the International Center for Agricultural Research in the Dry Areas (ICARDA) I came across two projects that will give you an idea of women wmpowerment through the introduction of simple diary technologies:
1) Diary goat project in Afghanistan: http://www.icarda.org/Dairy_goat_project_improves_womens_welfare_in_Afghanistan_AR10_16.html
2) Small ruminant diary project in Syria (Aleppo region): you can find details in https://icarda.org/Publications/Program_Reports/NRMP_P/PDF/pro%202.5.pdf
In Pakistan the peri-urban dairy farming has been in practice, where the farming families get a significant share in labour from their women. However, women are ignored in decision making and these families get little profit out of the business due to hostile marketing system, poor productivity, and loss of calves in their earlier ages. Still these families stick with the dairy business because of investment by their forefathers and lack of any alternate source of livelihood. In comparison to dairy, the poultry business is mostly used by the women for income generation.
There are our studies which is mainly involve rural woman .. what are tehjir problmes and difficulties . This publication web adres is http://www.lrrd.org/lrrd19/6/kara19087.htm
in india, many example of woman empowerment by adoption of dairy technology can be observed. many of the dairy farm at Gujarat state under 'gujarat cooperative milk marketing federation' is fully run by women. there is a separate category for women (employed as well as un employed) to get research grants through the research projects.these are some examples only... there is many more....
