I am using a GenRH m-cell with Thermo iN10mx imaging system (FTIR equipped with a microscope).
When I place my sample into the mcell and proceed to capture spectra (the sample has a distinct spectra, which I am able to acquire as is), I get very noisy spectra, not representative of the sample at all (no peaks, flat fuzzy line)?
Is this because I need to decrease the working distance between the sample and the system?
