i am trying to model the liquefaction process under the foundation due to the load caused by heavy trucks on a curve road. However, i have difficulty on how to assign this loading process. Do anyone have experience or any ideas on how to deal with this issue?

I recommend you to use Flac3D instead of plaxis. Flac3d is more powerful tools for simulating liquefaction.

You can calculate load of truck and can apply it as a surcharge in PLAXIS. See the manual for details on liquifaction model and validation

Dear Farzad, Thanks so much for your suggestion, but i don't have much time on this, and learning Flag from the scratch will take time :((. In fact, i have difficulties in assigning the surcharge, it is a kind of dynamic loading when many cars run thru a section in a period of time :)
Sadiq Shamsher, have you ever model this type of problem? how do you assign the dynamic loading process when several trucks pass thru a section in a period of time? is the process the same like when you drive a pile into the foundation?
I cannot understand question. I think you can numerically model your cross section of pavement and soil profile ( which contain layer of soil suspectible to liqufaction during seismic loading), and to account for the vehicle loading you can calculate surcharge of trucks etc based on AASHTO specifications, that surcharge you can apply as uniformly distributed load on the cross section of pavement.

Viet if you wanted to refer to wheel load, you can have an idea from this paper, although its pavement section for the culvert, but you can have idea that how they applied wheel load of vehicle
