We are trying to get an older SPS up and running, and one main cost is the price of new desiccant columns. The current ones have probably run their course (it has two column per solvent, so we are considering replacing only the terminal column). Has anyone tried to open one of these things up and dry the desiccant in a vacuum oven to try and recycle it?
