We are developing a model by growing Caco-2 cells on PVDF membranes but have had limited success thus far. Has anyone experience of growing any cells (especially Caco-2 cells) on this substrate, and is there any specific attachment matrix (e.g. collagen) that might help the cells to attach and grow normally? We cannot use another type of membrane or substrate, it has to be PVDF.
