In theory, rtx3060 has better most of parameters - more RAM (12GB vs 8GB) and more cores (3584 vs 3072), and higher bus bandwidth.
Yet in gaming benchmarks rtx4060 is claimed to be a bit faster due to higher frequencies and newer architecture.
The prices are more or less the same nowadays.
So anyone has experience in comparing performance of these two in more serious applications than just gaming?

The RTX 3060 OC 12 GB is a bit slow but better because it supports overclocking. I also use an RTX 3060. For optimal performance, other components such as a 10th gen+ CPU and 6000 MHz RAM would make a great combination for deep learning.

you opinion is right . i tested a code o 2 GPU with 12GB and 6GB ram .
regardless of speed and cores of GPU , any GPU with more RAM usually has better performance
