Yes, I have seen the white calotropis around me here at Tamilnadu, Chennai. But it is rare one. We are using its root for medicinal purpose.

I am looking for monochromatic color it white. Shanmuga milkweed in  your city is monochrome (white)or  white - purple?

I am sure I have seen white-flowered Calotropis procera in various places, such as India and West Africa. Indeed it is much less frequent than the purple genotypes.

I think you have seen Calotropis gigantea.Calotropis gigantea is grow in india and reoprted in both color(white and white-purple)

Both (White and white purple ) are available. I meant white without purple...

Greetings.  We have both pure white/off white flowered and  Purple flowered  Calotropis plants growing  at our facility in Bangalore India.  The Purple flowers are seen in Calotropis procera, and this species grows upto 5-6 feet high and tends to spread laterally. The leaves are roundish-ovate, large in size.  The white flowers are borne in Calotropis gigantea which tends to grow into a much-branched tree of 12 - 15 feet.The leaves are  elongated with a tapering pointed end   Please let us know what your requirement:is : If you need pure seeds, we will have to isolate flowers to prevent cross pollination and then collect the seeds and send them to you. Please find attached the photographs of both the varieties.

Your plants are Calotropis gigantean not Calotropis procera

Yes.these pictures are calotropis gigantea. The c.gigantea is different with c.procera in petals

The calotropis with purple white flowers is C.  procera while with pure white flowers is c. gigantea.

No. C.gigantea have both color(pure white and white purple).

C.procera only white purple reported right now.

I just saw the plants here in our farm, the white one is small size leaves when compared to purple and Iam waiting for its flowering.

C.procera have flower and fruit here (bushehr-iran).

I found c.procera with white flowers but have no different with white purple. I couldn't find any data about c.procera with white flowers in floras.

In the Canary and Cape Verde archipelagos the plants of Calotropis procera I have found have always a combination of white and purple coloration in their flowers. From the Atlantic islands, as far as I know, there are no reports of pure white flowers in this species.

Hi I have seen all three colors in C.Procera. Purple Intermediate and white.
