Hello,

im encountered on a problem in Abaqus that i cant solve.

Setting:

Parameter analysis in Isight include Abaqus model.

The Model is a simple shaft hub connection with a standard contact between shaft and hub in 2D plane strain. The BC is tangential holding in the biggest radius on the hub. The shaft load is a rotation with 0,005 RAD. The result show, that the model work.

The problem is the Parameter who change Isight on the Parameter optimization. If Isight change the radius of the Hub, he didn´t change the same radius in the shaft so Abaqus found´t contact and the calculation break off.

Im searching for a solution to connect the parameters from the hub sketch to the parameters of the shaft sketch that Isight need to change only 1 parameter in the optimization application.

I know, in NX you can create "globale parameter" and connect them to every part in the model.

The important parameter is the radius of big and small circle and the radius in the notch base.

Have you some idea for me?
