I am in the 2nd year of my undergraduate and I am very much interested in doing research in biology, chemistry and physics! I saw research opportunities under my professors but they are too complex for me to even think about it! However, I had this thought that famous scientists, like Issac Newton, never did any complex experiments. So, it's also possible that I can think & observe the world around me & figure out something like that too! So, I had a couple of questions to begin my this adventure:

  • Does research has to be unique and something that has never done before?
  • How can I think of research topics/questions? or is there a website to which researchers refer in order to find a research question?
  • If I conduct research at home, can I still try to publish in a well-known publication if they like it?
  • I would really appreciate if someone can help me to explain in detail all the things, I need to do in order to begin thinking & doing my research!
