I am wondering what websites other than NCBI we have to know about function and signaling pathways for genes?

Hi,

There are several species specific websites for model organisms. Moreover, you could have a look at KEGG or MetaCyc. The functions of gene products with enzymatic activity might be described at BRENDA.
