in short can GAMS do the optimization of problem of control systems like the PSO and MPC for control systems including finding the optimum operating point for each source. and be linked with a MATLAB Simulink model or not ??

I am trying to make a tertiary control on a microgrid that contains three sources grid, DG, photovoltaic. the grid suffers from fluctuation in voltage varies between 220 to 500 . so i have built a droop control topology for current sharing between the three sources on MATLAB.

my question here is can GAMS be used in an integration way with MATLAB so that once the voltage fluctuation (which will be done through the MATLAB) is being fed to GAMS ,GAMS can done the optimization for the system and determine which source should be working based on some constrains which is already mentioned in gams including cost constrains ,environmental constrain and of course the voltage fluctuation which is fed from MATALB and to fed the power sharing percentage of each source back to MATLAB.
