You have defined in the Fuzzy rules that the value of the input 2 should be in the range of [-4,4], but when you are using the Fuzzy Controller in the MATLAB Simulink, the system gives a value out of the defined range ([-4,4]) of the Fuzzy rules.

It is better to change the ranges of the rules or the system parameters.

Another way, you can normalize the system outputs to the range of [-4,4], then give it to the Fuzzy Controller.

Without looking at your system model, it is not easy to tell where the problem might be.

But one piece of advice is to employ another additional set of fuzzy rules that consider error derivatives. By this way, you shall have better control over your fuzzy logic based controller outputs. Note that this will create an extra work for you to set up fuzzy rules and find value ranges and extra computation time for your control system.

The value of i out 2 looks suspicious to me, because it is a very high value (!?)

It is either undefined for some reasons or there was a division by zero ( rather by almost zero).

My suggestion - double check your implementation code.

After that - Yes, I agree that normalization is a good way to go.
