I am trying to functionalize MWCNTs- NC7000 - nanocyl. I test many methods which were reported but the process was unsuccessful. It seems that this kind of MWCNTs have different functionalization method. I need exact method in which can creat COOH function on NC7000 MWCNTs at least structural defect.
Well, I have attached screenshot from one of my works. I tried the different processes for creating COOH function from the internet (depicted in Screenshot 142). For your reference I have attached the Zeta Potential Analysis part (143), showing the effective method among the ones I experimented.

I have used Nanocyl NC7000 MWCNT in my past projects. Their functionalization with COOH groups was reasonably straightforward in 70% nitric acid at 50C under sonication for 30 min.
