I prefer ThinPrep, easier application to HPV analysis and ICC. Not more expensive then SurePath (SP). SP contain formaldehyd, can block ancillary analysis such as

HPV DNA, mRNA mm.

Having worked with both systems, I also prefer ThinPrep. In my experience, ThinPrep slides are easier to read because the cells are more equally distributed and monolayered on the slides than with Surepath.
