In my study for inter coder reliability , the coders selected for coding data are :
CODER 1 : the researcher , herself , that is me
CODER 2: a different person from the same educational and cultural background as that of the researcher.
Since. it is difficult to convince others to code the data, I have chosen myself as coder 1 . Please share your views on it.
Sometimes not professional because of individual pre knowledge towards the expected result.

Theoretically, the researcher should not be a coder. However, in special circumstances where researcher doesn't find any others to be a coder, then researcher can be a coder.
