When USA rushed exited out of Afghanistan, in 2021, as Taleban had taken over Kabul, USAs military team left Kabul, gone towards Pakistan, to USA. USA military left their military armours; tanks, etc., in Bagram near the airbase, I did write USA will go back to Afghanistan for their military items or will raise talk/issue about their items.
Since its been few years, USA shown to be cool on this matter, Afghanistan and world had thought USA abandoned these items, USA were not interested in Afghanistan anymore. USA, also made fuss comments and unnecessarily spoke of to charge Afghanistan for the cost of USA high ranking advanced military items, and USA had frozen Afghanistan's assets.
For USA after all, after years of two decades been in Afghanistan, although it was in war combat, for the USA the war on terror created a pathway into Afghanistan. Afghanistan was known as the graveyard of many empires, and invaders for the past millenniums, there since the previous-war, and Soviet left Afghanistan in 1989, civil war ended later on, in 1992.
USA now in 2025, is back in Bagram, Kabul in Afghanistan. The Emirates of Afghanistan acted well wise did not challenge or confront USA entered back in Bagram. Surely, this gives Emirates of Afghanistan a chance to open a dialogue with USA for a negotiation with USA on the international relationships level.
It certainly will be expensive relationship with USA, for the nature of Global power assertive unspoken Empire of USA, as it is the same there for the Arab Emirates. Despite USAs assertive power, Arab countries are running with their own culture systems in placed, where women are strictly controlled under the system by law and order in Arabian Emirates countries, USA do not enter in the Arabs internal matters.
However, the Emirates of Afghanistan, must think on their women's roles in the country, in health sectors nurses, and doctors. In public services of police, law and social services, and in childcare are essential in dealings with families specifically in case of women.
While Baluchistan taking its freedom from Pakistan , Afghanistan in this situation must negotiate a corridor of pathways, by the Baluchistan to have access to the seafront. Shipping through sea - route is necessary for economy. Surely this is best opportunity for the Afghanistan.

While the USA’s return to Bagram may appear strategic, it risks being interpreted as a tactical move without long-term commitment. Afghanistan must ensure that any engagement with the USA is anchored in mutual interest, economic rebuilding, and institutional capacity-building, especially in health, education, and women’s empowerment sectors, not just security.
2. Baluchistan Corridor:
Your suggestion of using Baluchistan as a corridor to the Arabian Sea is strategically sound but geopolitically complex. Pakistan's control over Baluchistan and its resistance to any form of Baluch independence makes this corridor a contentious goal. Furthermore, any Afghan support for Baluch freedom may provoke retaliatory instability from Pakistan.
3. The Role of India:
Here is where India’s role becomes pivotal. India has historically enjoyed goodwill among ordinary Afghans, and has already contributed significantly to Afghanistan’s infrastructure, education, and healthcare. India also shares Afghanistan’s concerns regarding Pakistan’s destabilizing influence in the region.
I believe that a triangular strategic axis involving Afghanistan, the USA, and India, with Pakistan being diplomatically isolated, could achieve several of your goals:
- India can assist in training Afghan medical professionals, policewomen, and administrators, helping institutionalize women’s participation.
- India’s Chabahar Port project in Iran, which bypasses Pakistan, could be expanded to serve Afghan trade needs, an alternative to the Baluchistan corridor under Pakistan.
- New Delhi could also act as a neutral facilitator for structured Afghanistan–USA talks, focused on long-term reconstruction, connectivity, and counter-terrorism.
4. Isolating Pakistan:
For decades, Pakistan has positioned itself as the gatekeeper of Afghan access and regional strategy, often acting as a spoiler. A concerted effort to diversify Afghanistan’s international partnerships, especially toward India and Central Asia, would reduce this dependence and challenge Pakistan’s regional monopoly.
In conclusion, I wholeheartedly support your vision of a more autonomous, economically empowered, and diplomatically engaged Afghanistan. However, I believe, achieving that vision will require recalibrating alliances, engaging more dependable regional partners like India, and diplomatically side-lining destabilizing actors like Pakistan.

About the Chabahar Port , bypasses Pakistan to expanded to serve Afghan trade needs, if Iran aggress on, or an alternative to the Baluchistan corridor under ot through Pakistan is a best chance when Baluchistan want it's freedom and with their border marking this proposal I see as a is best idea/ or chance.
