For BioID experiments, is it okay to use Streptavidin - Agarose instead of Streptavidin-Sepharose for pulldown?

For most experiments, people use Streptavidin Sepharose beads (affinity of >= 300nm free biotin) (GE Healthcare). However, we would like to use Streptavidin Agarose (affinity of >=120nm free biotin). Would it be okay to use that? Technically, streptavidin-agarose is able to bind lower amounts of biotin. Does that cause a problem with specificity?

Since Sepharose is agarose cross-linked for improved mechanical stability, it should make little difference
