I am in problem , that when i run PSO algorithm ,my objective function run and my FOPID parameters are passed toward simulink .Simulink model will run .But after some iteration ,there may be some set of values for which system become unstable and model break.The simulink show singularity error and stop simulation .
However i want that iteration run ,up to number of iteration defined because that unstable value are a subset of whole superset and the system just want to check response of every iteration .
Hi, I have had the same problem some times and, to be honest, the only way I found to overcome the simulink limitation in some cases was by coding the problem directly on matlab. However, you could also try changing the numerical method matlab is using by default, my recommendation is to try with the ode23s and ode15s methods.
When you call your Simulink use try-catch handler and set the cost to inf when you catch errors. This code will ensure to move the program flow to the catch block if you have an unstable system which will cause an error.
