Flomax causes Intra-operative floppy iris during cataract surgery. Does it effect zonules in any way?
No, such effect on zonules are not revealed
Dear,literatures show side effect of flomax are: Blurred vision and intraoperative Floppy Iris Syndrome . however due to difficulties during cataract surgery mechanical effect of iris prolapse and change in IOP may cause effect on zonules.
Flomax in particular has no effect on zonules as there are no such receptors on lens zonules for FLOMAX to bind.
