I have lat and long information for 234 locations and I have a shapefile of the route network.
I am trying to obtain shortest path from each location to all other locations.
For instance ; for location 1, I would like to find shortest path from location 1 to 2, location 1 to 3, location 1 to 4 ....... location 1 to 234. I want to apply this for each locations.
I tried to do this in ArcMap with OD cost matrix but the output was a straight line .
I would like to obtain routes like I obtain by using "new route analysis".
Is there a way to obtain routes instead of straight line in ArcMap, or by using Python ?
Can I do this with Model Builder in ArcMap by using iteration ?

It sounds like you are getting a straight line because the shortest distance between two points is a straight line. I suspect that the direct connection between two points is not always an available route in your route network.
With Python you could have a look at one graph-tool (https://graph-tool.skewed.de/). It is an efficient option for solving network/graph problems. Since you are working with geolocation, you will probably use something like geopy for calculating distances as part of the network problem the network problem.

There are few algorithms like Kruskal, Prims, Dijkstra which you can apply for the given problem. The best solution though depends on the best, average and worst case.

Dijkstra algorithm finds the shortest route from one point to all other points. Also called single source shortest path algorithm. You can find solution to your problem using NetworkX library of python, where you need to write a for loop for destination locations. Hope it helps.
