I want to do a research in Financial Forensics or Criminal Investigation for my Phd. As you all are aware about the scam, Bank fraud which has been conducted by some defaulters.
So i want to know from your side if you have any knowledge about this area that how to start?

I have a few papers in this area. One is about all frauds reflected on Wikipedia. Another one is about check kiting. A PhD thesis would be about the common background (their family background, education, psychologies, etc) of these fraudsters in each of these cases.
