Recently, I have received a paper submission invitation email from a fake journal. They seems to be very cunning where the subject of the email was “Call for Paper: Journal of Multi.... Scopus Q3”..

When Im visited their webpage, they mentioned that their journal is indexed by scopus (Q3) and they displays the scopus widget in their website. You know what.. it is look damn real!

But I was bit suspicious actually so i got their ISSN and checked in Scopus database and its exist! Yes it existed, so when i click the homepage shows in scopus website it has led me different website which is look like a real scopus publishing website.

After that i check again the journal ISSN in the ISSN portal, yes it has led me to that real scopus publishing website and not that predatory journal webpage..

Beware researcher, nowadays it becomes very difficult to identify which one is real and which one is predatory!

Explore first before make submission!

Hopefully this message helpful for everyone! Thank you.
