I found many 'important' 'news' in internet and in face book posts.
I come to know afterwards that these are just prepared and uploaded by somebody.
I do not know these people are punished or not for spreading such fake news.
But many people are influenced by such news.
So, can we say Face book and net news = fake news in many cases?

There have always been false and right news, only the medium and the means of mind control have technically changed. Of course, it is all about social engineering and manipulating human behavior.

I believe that online social media possess imminent threat as the platform for disseminating hoax (fake news, lies etc.), especially if used by people or party with agenda. It is us that have to be self-reliable to detect and filter the news and information they put on it. Be informed and knowledgeable as much as possible, comprehend the facts from both sides (especially when the news/information intend to put the audience in a position against others) and not just accept what you see or read from the social media.
If you are not able to do that, my suggestion is just refrain yourself from using any of it.

No idea about Facebook news because I don't use it, but I rely on NET news.
I do not trust Facebook news because could any one types a post and take side... that is why i could not trust it.
Facebook was invented and designed for personal communication, but it has turned to be a mass communication with manipulated, fabricated and politically motivated news and means of propaganda.
It also reflects the ways how political leaders deceive people by escaping from genuine issues.
The main line media also tries to do the same due to their relations with political parties and leaders.
It is like drinking highly infectious polluted water due to unchecked messages and posts.
That is my opinion.

FB is a social media , they write what people want to hear ...So it is better cross-verify rather than believing . Also , for them it is marketing- real /fake doesn't matter .

Indeed any source can provide fake news, but most social media post contains fake news.
They will certainly be held accountable and brought to justice if they are called up.

Its absolutely not true. Almost all media houses have a facebook account. It depends on the faecbook page you get your news from. Some facebook page promotes blogs that are income oriented so they tend to put a lot up to attract attention.
I think the issuance of absolute sentences in a particular subject is arbitrary and exceeds the positive aspect that exists in it.
I do not have a Facebook account. Nevertheless, wrong info news, bad taste speakers, and heavy tilted propaganda are making mass media quite unbearable.

Face book & Net news both have an effect of the information .However in face book members inform & express their views after carefully studying the same .
In the case of Net news , it covers the news of media where they are expressing & interpret the news in the way of the importing their channel .It is in this channel because of the arguments , & debating with the participant members , we feel that they are not giving justice to the government & in this case quite good times such news become a fake .

the social media has spoilt the authenticity of news. However, I do not always believe any news unless it finds its way in some reputed newspaper or online news forum.
Yes sad to say fake news as discourse, challenges the authority of genuine news, and exists alongside websites that are not legitimate.
I advise students to only read established journals, news on world bank, UN, and so forth. Of course any news Trump does not like is fake news... he has invented President by Twitter leadership which lacks sophisticated addresses...he trivialises and insults everyone, hard to believe that this is Presidential behaviour...
