Hello everyone! I’m currently developing my master’s thesis on the topic of color preferences and mood regulation in daily life. I’m particularly interested in how people use their favorite colors (in clothing, décor, etc.) to improve or regulate their mood.

As I plan to conduct an online survey-based study without lab facilities, I’d love to hear from researchers who have explored similar themes or used online methods to study color perception and mood.

📷 Key Questions:

Are there recommended scales or measures to assess color preferences beyond just “favorite color”?

Any validated mood regulation questionnaires you’d suggest for this context?

Do you have suggestions on how to analyze the link between color preferences and mood states in an online survey?

Any cultural considerations I should be aware of when assessing color-mood associations?

📷 Any relevant papers, resources, or tips would be greatly appreciated! I’d also love to connect with others working on similar topics for further discussions.

Thanks in Advance
