Does somebody knows about a paper / technical record / picture / schematic / video showing a 2D, planar, Poiseuille cell being used to illustrate vortex shedding behind a cylinder or a square to students?
I *think* (may remember wrongly) that I had seen such illustrations a long time ago. What I would like to do is build a very small, simple, and cheap experiment to easily demonstrate this phenomenon visually. The simpler the setup the better.
