I absolutely agree. Mere evaluation of results and conclusion without detailed analysis of the study method and population can create wrong interpretations and even harmful public health implications ( especially seen in COVID-19)

Dr. Magoon, I agree with you that it is about time that we judge the "quality of questions, methodology and soundness of analysis, rather than just result." A sensible conclusion derives from the formulation of an arguable thesis and logical research questions, and articulation and use of an appropriate conceptual or theoretical framework and methodology.

We do journal clubs in our dept weekly to teach the same to residents that all original articles must be dealt with an inquisitive perspective and understanding from introduction to conclusion. Many times supplementary texts of articles help in getting a clearer picture
