Dear colleagues,
could you tell me how long does Euparal medium take to dry completely with your samples if you use this medium? I found something like "let it dry several days", but no mention with room temperature or not.
I prepared Epon semithin sections, stain them and covered them with Euparal and cover slip. And after a week waiting (=drying) with room temperature I see that the medium at the edge of the cover slip can be still pushed with my finger nail. Is it normal for this medium?

Euparal mounted slides should be dried at 50C for 24-48 hours, according to Berlin et al. (Berlin, O. G., & Miller, M. J. (1980). Euparal as a permanent mounting medium for helminth eggs and proglottids. Journal of Clinical Microbiology, 12(5), 700–703.)
