The EU has ruled that Europeans have the right to have links on Google removed (at their request) to data that is outdated or irrelevant. Google are disappointed by the ruling. The court said that people had the right to request information be removed if it appeared to be "inadequate, irrelevant or no longer relevant". What do you think?

I like the idea of the "right to be forgotten" and having control over my personal data. In the meantime i do not think that the role of public interest was taken seriously by the lawmakers in this case.

I agree with you Janos. I too like the idea of being able to control my information online but it is worrying that people may be able to hide information that would benefit the public.
