Now a days it become hot topic of discussion that how to give relevant, accurate and exact citation to any particular paper or article

for some example like MTT, protein estimation by Lowry , Bradford etc., is all time standard protocol. time-to -time and lab to lab it goes same but with little modification.

what I feel, protocol we follow from particular paper if we are able to reproduced them and with some extend of modification if we are getting result then we should definitely cite that paper.

Same goes with any concluding statement, if a article conclude anything from their study and we are getting link with our concept then by giving citation or reference we can go to the next level.

But what about the some similar kind of statement that are used especially in introduction, like particular statement is given and they given reference that same statement u will find in other way repeated by other person. there you will find mostly one statement but different people. WHAT TO DO IN SUCH CASE?

even take any review paper, statement in every line is from different source so in that case we should cite the article where we are reading or go to the back reference and cite that paper.

even if you go the back reference you will find that person also referred from other person

I know that this thing are may be simple or i am confuse.

but proper way of citation matters.
