I want to estimate the below ground biomass of Poplar tree. I do not know which technique/method is one of the best. If any body knows about it please let me know the details of instrument with cost.
In general, you have to do a destructive sampling - if there isn't already a allometric regression model of your poplar species at hand. These allometric regression models are very side specific. So there is a difference if tree grow in the desert or in a dense forest, right?
