Depauperate Golgi and swollen ER in the mouse cells of interest were observed in my research, and these phenotypes seem to be corelated with the state of cell proliferation. Proliferating cells exhibited Golgi depauperate and ER swollen, whereas resting cells not. So I wanna figure out the following questions:

1. How ER and Golgi process biosynthesis and separation during cell proliferation?

2. What is the relationship between ER and Golgi during this process?

3. Is ER to Golgi traffic essential for this process? or contributed to this phenotype?

I would be very grateful for your answer~
