I am an undergraduate who reads for BSc degree. This year, I have to conduct my research for the completion of my degree. For that, I have selected Finance/Economy as my field. But I still can't find an emerging areas under those fields. Can anyone suggest me some good areas to do my research? Since, it's a BSc degree, I can't engage with complex research problems.Also, I am Planning to move forward with Quantitative Research.

some topics that come to my mind right now:
1) Central bank digital currencies (CBDC) - Theoretical approach, cause there is no history which you can analyze via some model.
2) Financial stability - macroprudential policy. Emerging area since GFC (global financial crisis)
3) Monetary policy and macroprudential policy calibration
4) Anything from behavioural economics.
5) Zero lower bound interest rate
i think Econophysics and Financial Economy is the major that you can be successful.
