Article Elite Swimmers’ Training Patterns in the 25 Weeks Prior to T...

For decades, papers on long-term studies on swimmer training have caught my attention. I always hope for changes in the training philosophy, so away from extensive training, for example after seven or eight years of training, because then hardly anything changes in the VO2 value occur. But I have to admit that coaches who are paid after hours stay with extensive training. Carefully, I want to suggest that a study of what has been done can only show what has been done. But does that help disseminate the new insights for individual training of elite swimmers?
