I am facing issues with the thixotropic and sticky behavior of surface treated TiO2 post vacuum / pressure filtration. Variation in filter pH values has found to increase the thixotropic nature further. Reducing the quantity of wash water also didn't work. Is that be because of the impact of some weak organic acid added during surface treatment ? The filter feed slurry had normal viscosity. I look forward to understand the possible causes of this phenomena root cause and suggestions to resolve the above issue.
