If it is possible for any material to be thermally conductive while it is highly insulating for electricity?
Simply I can think it is not possible, but any of you have any idea that a electrically insulating material can be conductive to heat?
Thermally conductive substrate , such as AMB or DBC, are commonly used in power electronics. They have good thermal conductivity properties and, at the same time, they guarantee good electrical insulation.
The classic example of a material with high thermal conductivity and low electrical conductivity is diamond.
Thank you. Yes, I found some other references also.
I think that Mica is a good conductor of heat but an electrical insulator.

What I think is Dithiothreitol. As it is water-soluble and does not form a precipitate. But, the thing is it contains sulphur which is quite hazardous to aquatic animals.
