We plan to buy a nanosecond optical parametric amplifier. Both ekspla (NT230 series) and litron (AURORA 10-100 series) laser could fullfil our requirements. Litron can provide us 200 Hz system with the required pulse energy, while Ekspla can provide only 100 Hz system. High repetetion system good for our needs but not so important. The litron system is almost ~15-20 % expensive. Apartment from the technical aspects, my concern is that how user friedly these systems are? How the customer support between these suppliers? How oftern one would need to do service of this systems? If anyone using these systems, it would be valuable to know your openion from customer side.
